Portability
Porting is a process of adapting an executable program that can be created for an environment that is different from where it originated from.
Convergence
The blend of data, voice and entertainment. These used to be seperated but can now share resources and interact with each other.
Interactivity
There are three levels of interactivity, these are. Noninteractive, Reactive and Interactive.
Noninteractive is where a message is not related to the previous message.
Reactive is where a message is related to one immediate previous message.
Interactive is where a message is related to a number of previous messages and to the relationship between them.
Compatibility
Where tapes, languages and programming can be interchanged among various computer - controlled systems. For example, PS1 discs can be used on a PS2.
Storage
Where something permanent or semi - permanent can be held within a digital device, for example a pen drive.
Miniaturisation
This is where models of characters from films or programs on television.
Digital
This means something that can represent information for input, processing, storage etc. Digital can show discontinious information like numbers and letters or continious such as sounds or images.
Connectivity
The status showing whether two computer systems are communicating with each other either using a local network or connected to the internet.
Synergy
It is where one mouse and one keyboard is being used between multiple computers. It is used where several PC's are used together, with a monitor connected to each one, but are only controlled by one user.
